Together with the soprano Maximiliane Schweda Raphael Ophaus established already in 2009 the "Duo Amarilli".

Besides the lute songs of John Dowland and other composers of the elisabethian period the main focus of the duo is the music of composers of the romantic period such as Franz Schubert, Manuel de Falla and others. Furthermore they perform so far unknown portuguese songs from 18th century.

For their musical performance the duo is awarded with a scholarship of the society "Yehudi Menuhin - Live music now".
